The Le Grondici Restaurant is ideally located in Rome’s historic centre, just 50 metres from the Trevi Fountain. It offers quality cuisine, allowing a taste of the best recipes of the Roman and Italian tradition, and is a traditional meeting point for Romans themselves.       

An abundant self-service buffet is provided at lunchtimes from Monday to Friday for a price of €16.00, offering a wide choice of first and second courses, side dishes, cold cuts and cheese prepared each morning with the best products available on the market.

In the evenings, the rooms of the Le Grondici Restaurant become filled with atmosphere, providing a refined ambience for tasting the Mediterranean dishes expertly prepared by our chef, Renato.

From Between April to October lunch or supper can be eaten outdoors in a romantic, candlelit atmosphere conducive to pleasant conversation and fine dining.

Historical background
On 13 March 1896 the restaurant’s rooms were the venue for Italy’sfirst cinematic projection, with six short films (organised by the Lumiére brothers in what was at the time Henry Le Lieure’s photographic studio).
